What This Site Does
Alabama makes many jail, court, and corrections records available through public offices or public-facing portals. The hard part is knowing which office answers which release question. St. Clair County Jail releases are handled through the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office roster and public-records process. State-prison custody at St. Clair Correctional Facility is handled by the Alabama Department of Corrections, with Alabama VNS, VINELink, ABPP, and court records filling in related release and supervision details.
This site brings those source paths together in one local guide. It does not host official records, but it points to the sheriff roster, the sheriff records request process, ADOC search limits, St. Clair County court resources, and the two ABPP field offices serving Pell City and Ashville.
What You Will Find Here
The pages are written around practical release verification, not around a single generic inmate lookup.
- The home page explains the full St. Clair County released-inmate search path, with links to the projected release date, VINELink check, and parole and probation pages.
- Facility pages cover St. Clair County Jail and St. Clair Correctional Facility, including addresses, phones, and the correct release-record route for each.
- Recent-release pages explain how to use the sheriff's Released roster timestamps without inventing a separate official 24-hour or 72-hour feed.
- Records sections explain when to use the sheriff public-records request, the court record, ADOC, ABPP, or VNS instead of relying only on a visible roster entry.
What We Cannot Do
St. Clair County Released Inmates is privately run and is not connected to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, St. Clair County Jail, the Alabama Department of Corrections, the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles, the courts, or any other government office.
- We cannot release, hold, transport, or transfer anyone in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, add money to an account, or send paperwork for you.
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret a court order for your situation.
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, roster entry, or address remains current after publication.
Only the originating sheriff's office, corrections department, court, or supervising agency can confirm current custody status, release status, charges, sentence details, or official records.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers control their own data, pricing, signup terms, and search results. If a search tool leads to a paid service, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the local guide available, but it does not give us control over partner records or partner billing.
